HOW TO OBTAIN YOUR HEAD MEASUREMENT?
WHERE CAN I LOCATE MEASURING TAPE?
Measuring tape can be found at your local fabric store or convenience store. It will need to be the soft one for accuracy. Small,Medium and Large:
WHAT CAP SIZES ARE THERE?
Small - 20,21 inch circumference
Medium - 22 inch circumference
Large - 23-24 inch circumference
Never choose a category and go with the number you “think” you may be. As you can see, small has 2 different sizes and large has 2! If you are a 21 but order a 23, your wig will not fit as it will for sure be too big.
WHAT IF I FALL BETWEEN CAP SIZES?
Should you fall between cap sizes, we advise measuring up a half size. For ex. If you’re 21 1/2 measure up to 22. All of our units come with adjustable elastic bands so even if you measure up by the 1/2, your wig will still fit.
HOW SHOULD MY NATURAL HAIR BE WHEN OBTAINING THIS MEASUREMENT?
When obtaining your head measurement, you want your natural hair to be either up in a ponytail (if your natural hair isn’t really thick) or for best accurate results a braided foundation. Why? Custom wigs are created on a bald canvas block. This means your wig is made to be worn over such foundation for the flattest appearance.
